Let's say it in advance, Vera Playa is not a swingers paradise like Cap d'Agde. Unlike the latter, the vast majority of visitors, who go to Vera Play are nudists and naturists and the swingers are in the minority. But that does not mean, they are not around. Why else would there be a swingers club right around the corner from one of the largest naturist hotel in Spain, being Hotel Vera Playa Club.
Vera Playa is fairly unique in its structure. It is located in the southeast corner of Spain on the Costa de Almeria. Just like in Cap d'Agde, this is actually a small naturist village. However, this nudist area is not fenced off with barriers or gates and is not shielded from the outside world. In fact, in some places it is not even indicated that you have arrived in a naturist zone. So it can happen that tourists who are driving on the AL-7107, suddenly see people walking in their bare ass. And it probably doesn't stop with just one nude person, because the total nudist terrain of Vera Playa is very large and popular.
If you walk diagonally, you can move through an approximate 800 meter urban naturist zone with buildings and streets, before you reach the nude beach. That’s rather unique and you are allowed to walk naked in the streets, 365 days a year. That is a big advantage of Vera Playa, it is one of the best areas of the mainland in Europe in terms of climate and temperature. Being naked in the naturist zone is not an obligation. Mandatory nude applies at the most swimming pools of the hotel.
The nudist beach Playa Naturista is beautiful and large. Officially, it is 1 km long, but also outside this official zone, you will find nude recreation and in total the nude beach is 2.5 km. There is an area in the naturist zone, which is also called the strip in which you will find a small supermarket, bars, discos, restaurants and a swingers club.
If you book a holiday to Vera Play, then Vera Play Club (link is at the bottom of the page) is a very good choice. Nudity is compulsory at the swimming pool during the day. In the hotel itself you can walk naked everywhere on all floors (with the exception of the restaurant), between 8 am and 8 pm. So you can just leave your hotel room nude, walk naked through the hotel, and from there go nude on the streets, or on to the beach.
Vera Play Club has no less than 280 rooms, a fitness area, various swimming pools (inside and outside), a 24-hour reception, a hairdresser, dry cleaning and laundry, possibility to rent a car or a bicycle and various sports and game options .
